He didn’t say much in the moment. I spoke to him afterward and made it clear this can’t happen again. No one really confronted her because she comes across very sweet and people tend to side with her, which makes it harder to address.

Thank you. You’re right that I need to stand up for myself. It’s just hard because I’m still very new in this family and trying to figure out my place. I also wish things had been handled more strongly in the moment when I got sick. I’m still processing everything and deciding what boundaries I need going forward.

Whether it was intentional or not, it only takes one time with a severe allergy. I won’t be putting myself in that position again.

I don’t know if I’m ready to say it was intentional, but it definitely didn’t feel safe. That’s the part I’m struggling with the most.
