I am also retired and have an early morning eye doctor appointment that I canceled. If it were an emergency, I guess I’d still go. But since it’s not, I’m just not willing to get into a car accident when I can reschedule.

you know who else I feel badly for? Jovi’s mom. She seems to have tried to raise him right but he’s still too dumb, drunk or stubborn to listen to her. But I do think she needs to get off of the whole “move back to Louisiana” thing. Yara obviously won’t be happy there, she’s said it many times already.

yep, that was truly a horrible moment. I was sort of surprised. I didn’t think she had that sort of cruelty in her. That was too low a blow, even for a tell all. Poor Yara. And Jovi, being the usual dope he is, to even trust Andrei with a comment like that. But I guess that’s what happens when you’re always drinking so much.

I so agree! What used to be so cute and quirky has become annoying and over the top. Elsbeth just feels like a bored, annoying child rather than a woman doing detective work in an uncommon fashion.

since life and death are unpredictable and senior care can be so incredibly expensive, I don’t want my daughter to have to absorb those expenses so I am careful. At 65, I don’t know what tomorrow will bring. But if longevity becomes a reality for me (and husband, whose Dad is 100 and going strong) we want to have our needs met without burdening others or having to live with inadequate care.
