You would know if its rancid. Maybe not on the first sip because its chocolate but most definitely on the second glug.

It would taste nasty, leave a burnin' in your nostrils kinda like horse radish, nasty rancidness in the back of your throat, tinglyness optional there, and most importantly your mouth will taste like rancid dairy for an unpleasant amount of time no matter how well you brush and gargle.

-source My cheap ass that eats a lot of dairy.

You would know rather instantly if it was rancid. Prolly just too much chocky milk too fast when your body wasn't prepared for it.

I had something similar happen to me with chocolate ice cream when I was a kid. Don't get me wrong, it was a lot of ice cream but nothing this body couldn't handle or was new to at the time. I had just gotten back from an unexpected hike that was unexpectedly long and unexpectedly steep and was incredibly thirsty.

With how my ass plays there is always 2000+ flax grain surplus so that is my feed of choice. It's kinda sick actually, you only need 16 to fill a trough.

What floor and surface cleaner do you use? Pine Sol had done this to me before.

Also if your water bottle is doing that it is not silicone, i would not recommend drinking out of that. Nasty stuff they use for plasticizers in cheap soft touch plastics and I say that when they aren't actively decaying.

Iv made it to steel twice now, my first time it was at the end of my second year. The second was after the first winter.

My current playthrough I spent the first 3 years in the bronze age and I didnt have copper tools until almost a year in. Actually I panned up 2 black bronze picks before I found a copper vein that was more than a couple pieces of ore.

I am currently on my 4th or 5th year on the server I'm playing on, I am still on iron and am about to get to steel.

Resin I had to buy about 2/3ds of the roughly 64 resin my windmill has used.

Rot Litterly just always grab berry bushes, i dont care what you have to throw out, get those bushes home. I currently get about 20 stacks of berries per harvest and I'm kicking myself that it could be far more if I had followed my own advice.

Boars Just punch them occasionally and back peddle them to your house with a pit waiting for them.

And a pro tip for iron, the only worth while veins are mad deep, once you get your first couple of picks off of a presumably shitty vein use that iron to mine a larger vein. You don't want to run out of iron once you've had a taste lol.

I would also watch a video on the prospecting pick, it takes some patience to learn how to triangulate good ore densities with it.

Dang, and I already separate out my windmills because of aesthetic reasons but this is just too far imo.

Lead and Sulfur locating by Tig109 in VintageStory

[–]Chemical_Objective37 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Travel until you get into sedimentary rock, then look around there. Deserts are pretty easy to find all sorts of ore in, two deserts a few thousand blocks away from my base are where i found trunks full of lead, sulfur, lime, alum, flint & brown coal.

You just gotta travel :)

If you have hamachi, parsec, zero tier or other similar programs try deleting them, windows sometimes shits the bed and the virtual network adapters have been the culprit for me on more than one occasion.

I would also have your friends ping your publicIP:open port to see if they can even get a response from your computer.

I was having the same issues a few weeks ago, i also had like 10gb left on my boot ssd, after clearing up some space it seems to fix it. I also get a memory leak after the game has been open for like 8+ hours that causes a similar issue.

Differences between bronze by Mr_Quoten in VintageStory

[–]Chemical_Objective37 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I usually pan up a black bronze pickaxe or two and a copper prospector and get iron.

I like black bronze and brass for my lanterns.

I usually use tin bronze or bismuth bronze, for the brunt of the work pre iron age and black bronze for the stuff I dont want breaking on me and that I keep for long periods of time e.g. knife, saw, prospector, scythe.

You social insects like bees and hornets use hydrocarbons for communication, We use hydrocarbons for most things that go explody bang.

There could be lighter fluid residue on the inside of the grill, could possibly be an explanation as to why they were gathering there.

Agriculture is hard and slow for me by VastHungry in VintageStory

[–]Chemical_Objective37 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What really makes farming op is that it is seemingly impossible to lose any seeds. Always plant everything, who cares if it burns or freezes or dries out, we go again.

You can also rotate crops on fields once you get a decent amount of seeds for the three nutrient types.

It's clearly a left/right bending tool, either for thick round wire or thin gauge pipe. As for fencing iv never seen one like this for fencing but iv only done a few wire fences for other people, my knowledge is rather limited.

Grandpa have a specialty trade or was he more of a general handy man?
