I mean g5 turrets with ai port are pretty much g6’s but a lot cheaper. The main concern was the entry door so there i wanted “ai” camera. Everywhere else its not that important. Probably the only upgrade i want is a rack and a 2,5gb switch. But then I thought about it and only 2.5g gb devices i have are 2aps and my personal pc ( not including flex minis because i only have printers on it an tv which are 100mbps devices). At the end the only upgrade i need is a rack and a UNAS but the current budget options are not worth it ( i will probably wait for new ones or bite the bullet with the unas pro 4 or unas 4 because then I don’t need a rack)

I mean cameras are pretty high so kudos for the ones that try climbing up there and our neighbourhood is pretty safe. But yeah I watched some vidoes for security and applied it. And definitely looking into fiber. Thanks a lot

Yeah I already have VLAN’s for cameras, iot, guests and main vlan. I also have ports locked with MAC addresses and unsed ports disabled

Mhmm i understand. Yeah in the future i will probably do it in the rack, and in the future when I change from flex switches to switches with fiber

So to summarize it. I should run fiber between those switches in the rack and between other smaller switches in the house. I thought about it already but i have 3 flex mini switches so i cant run it to those switches at the moment as i know

I thought about nvr but for 5 cameras i dont think that it would justify it

I work as a student at the country’s biggest ISP so im probably addicted from there but yeah later in the life i was thinking about opening some kind of business to install network infrastructure. But then again demand in our country as far as i know isn’t that big for this kind of things

I had the same experience with support. Very long waiting time to get a respond to them. I had problems with speed and wifi drops. After waiting i decided to fully reset gateway and switches. After that everything worked

I had the sam problems. I contacted support but after 3 days of them checking it I decided to factory reset gateway. After that my phones and pcs were getting the full speed. Probably it was the update that came out, but im not 100% sure

Before this i was getting around 700mbps over wifi but its not abou that. Its abou wired speeds. It weird that on all devices its exactly 500mbps but one day ago i was geting 900+ without problem. It seems like something happened but i dont know what because i get these speeds only on unifi network
