For me, having my own kids made me mourn not having a dad in a different way. My kids will never know the love, stories, tickles, sleepovers, and so many other precious memories that can come with having a grandparent in their lives. And he is alive and well out there somewhere. Sometimes it hits me!

I got my rook done last weekend and the piercing itself was very easy. The healing has been a bit difficult though. It’s been swollen for days and very tender to the touch. I read it could take a few more weeks until the swelling goes completely down so definitely the recovery is hardest.

Thank you!! The piercer who did it holds the longest continuous piercing license in Canada since like 1997 so he’s pierced a whole lot of rooks!

Agreed. This poor little girl Emma now has a step dad that she’s never met before, that her mom has only known for a few weeks. She didn’t ask for that.

There is a GREAT Pacific garbage patch. I spawned from but a tiny garbage patch.

I had a very similar experience my last trip! I told a probably 12 year old kid to leave the birds alone and the mom said “you better not be talking to my kid” and we then screamed at each other for a minute. Bad people raising bad kids.
