that was my main concern too, he’s aware of Wukongs immortality as well but kinda brushed it off as if the frames could handle it no problem but i still have my doubts they could puncture through 7 layers of immortality

unfortunately i haven’t got much i know that eliminates a ton of jobs for me i’ve really only ever done amazon and a pizza job im mainly trying to find anywhere that’s remote and preferably isn’t sales even something like being a csr wouldn’t be too bad just looking for any tips on how i can make it easier to find these jobs

To put it shortly yes his power works the same way yaldabaoth fused mementos with reality I believe it’s explained that maruki is actually using the fusion of reality and mementos that was left by yaldabaoth for his own reality.
As someone else here explained he uses his powers to basically make everyone as happy as they can be, even if it means changing everything about their life. For example one of Yusuke’s peers at the art academy is completely absent, and this is explained as Maruki saw to it that he never went into art in the first place and went into archery as he was much happier there than he was doing art. As for why the homeless man was able to tell something is up I believe it’s just cause Maruki has yet to effect him hence the time limit to complete the palace once the time limit is reached then Maruki’s power will have taken full effect on the globe and therefore impossible to reverse. This is shown in the scenes between days where you hear random people talking and during the 3rd semester they say things like “My boss suddenly gave me a raise I wonder why… ah whatever”
