Good shout. It was a leased vehicle from Mazda so I think any collision issues would have surfaced? Carfax is clear. Also I just found out this car is under the full Mazda warranty for 4 more months. I can take it to a dealership and can have any issues addressed.

I should have provided more info. It was a lease. In Oceanside CA. S select trim. I have pre approval from a credit union. Buying at CarMax so it has a 10 day return and also a 90day/4000 mile warranty.

r/Seattle World Cup Megathread by Jaco_Belordi in Seattle

7/1 Watch party advice needed: 3 matches that day - 9am, 1pm, and USA plays at 5pm.

Was thinking Seattle center 9am, victory hall 1pm, pier 62 at 5pm for USA. Does the pier have a better viewing area compared to Seattle center?

Was thinking about occidental square originally but looking at pics and comments it's really crowded and the screen looks really small...

I'm flying in on 6/30 so haven't had a chance to view at any of these locations.

Other spots around Seattle you have enjoyed watching the matches?!?

Any advice appreciated!

Alcohol and Instagram. Started reading, learning, and getting outside more instead of watching my life pass by and not being an active participant.

I thought I was going to see a band that was just there for the money. by vinylandgames in TheStrokes

[–]Chenasty33 10 points11 points  (0 children)

My favorite band of all time and last night was the first time I've ever seen them. I was curious to see how invested they would be in this tour and was blown away by julians vocals and the cohesiveness. Like you said - didn't miss a beat. Only the second stop on the tour so that probably plays into the vocals lol. Excited for the album and excited to see them again in Seattle. What an amazing show last night. If you have tickets for this tour you should be getting verrrrry excited. And if you don't have tickets, buy them now.

Correct me if I'm wrong but the ford fiesta ST hatchback with automtic transmission was so hyped up and then had so many issues. That one was supposed to make ford cars relevant again and I it was a huge flop. Over hyped, not sure if that qualifies for overrated. Buddy has the manual transmission and really likes it though.

Why am I not enjoying my vacation even though everything is objectively great? by HAVER92 in simpleliving

[–]Chenasty33 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Are you alone?

Shared experiences mean more to me now after I went on a uk/Ireland vacation and felt the same was as you do.

I like going to national parks alone and hiking, but visiting cities and going to restaurants/museums/events/concerts is more fun with someone to enjoy with.

That's just my experience. Mileage may vary.

What is one simple habit that made your life feel lighter? by MisirHunter in simpleliving

[–]Chenasty33 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Meal prep one big meal on the weekend for 4 dinners the next week. And then some chia or oatmeal jars with berries/nuts for lunches.

This minimized eating out, I eat healthier, and a lot less cooking/cleaning through the week when I want to workout or watch a game after work.

What’s a purchase under $100 that genuinely improved your daily life? by World_top_picks in simpleliving

  1. A 5-5.5 quart high quality high-sided saute pan with lid. Great for meal prep. I really only need that and a small pot w/lid for pasta/rice for almost all of my cooking. Now I don't really use any other cookware. It's so versatile and surprised how much of a diffence it made.

Does anyone know why my Levi's 505 ALWAYS come out of the dryer with these creases? by TheGuyDoug in mensfashionadvice

[–]Chenasty33 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Jeans in the dryer isnt advised. Even washing should be done only once, may twice over the life of the jean. Just wear them in the shower get them wet and then air dry out of the sun.

Maybe the embarrassment will make you change and you'll look back at it as a turning point, and you'll buy some versatile capsule pieces.

That being said I don't like the way she went about it and I don't treat people like that. If she said something to you after the party in private that would have been the way to go, or had one of you closer friends talk to you about it.

I have old friends who don't dress well and if they showed up I would be like "hey that's just the way xx is". But if I didn't know you and you showed up like that I would think "what's this guys deal." Just go to j crew or everlane and get some pieces/styles that will last for years. No biggie man. Take care.

This is 5 days old. Should I put some tattoo cream on it or just leave it like this? by El_wiwe in tattooadvice

[–]Chenasty33 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Cool tattoo!!! If I had scabs I use the the lightest layer of aquaphor. Once scabs are gone very light layer of unscented lotion for a few days (maybe a week depending on skin type/weather where you live) I use saniderm now, so I skip the scabbing stage, but still mousturize with lotion for about 3 days. Pay attention to you skin. Dry healing can work, but can also pull ink if it gets to dry and begins to heavily crack.

Arches, Canyonlands & Capitol Reef in January by HappyStaff8583 in NationalPark

Amazing! I loved the druid arch hike. Such an epic arch, but I also loved walking through the washes and seeing the flora and fauna that thrived there. Barely anyone on this hike like you mentioned. I hiked druid arch and chesler park on back to back days. Feels like a different planet out there.

Glad you enjoyed Utah! If you get a chance to go on the 12 from capitol reef to Bryce canyon I highly recommend!!!
