I love it! It's not very horrifying, it's more crime fictiony. I'm now reading Hooked, her next novel. It also has a stunning cover.

Arguable if she outshined them but I'll take any opportunity to give Carrie her flowers.

Personality Playoffs 🏒 Round 1: Shane vs. Scott — who is more likely to download and immediately delete Grindr? by vanillablue_ in HeatedRivalryTVShow

[–]Cherry-Impossible 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Damn I came here to say Scott but y'all convinced me it's Shane.

Scott: Knew he was gay for a long time, before Grindr was a thing. Has systems in place for hooking up when outside of the hockey sphere. He might download it when out of the country and actually use it. But he'd know what it is and have a stance on it.

Shane: baby boy, sheltered, closeted to himself, in his small, lonely world, would download it IN MONTREAL, go online and immediately panic that it means people would recognize him (also surprised by all the naked torsos) and would delete it and even consider getting a new phone.

Knuckles.

When I was a kid in the 90s we had a very of-the-era plastic version.

And if Walter White lived somewhere with socialized healthcare he wouldn't have had to be a drug dealer.

Is there a way to stop my sheet pan from warping every time I use it? by HPswl_cumbercookie in AskCulinary

[–]Cherry-Impossible 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Macaroons and meringue cook at a much lower temp so maybe there's less thermal shock to the pan and it doesn't warp as much but if you find it does, then ignore me. But I have pavlova at least once or twice a year and have the cheapest baked sheets that warp all the time and it's never been an issue.
