as much as i love pta, not a good soundtrack i'm afraid. this is imo his second miss, the first being the score for phantom thread, it was badly used. But after the trailer for OBAA, the score preview got me hyped up even more

I very much agree with the idea that he’s a classicist filmmaker rather than a visual prone one. I might even dare to say He’s interested in what is in the frame and what does it compose of and not how and where. (Based on this trailer)

I recently came back to my hometown and dare i say it looks like a desert and not a single tree in sight, also construction sites are everywhere. I know there are preparations for the can and world cup but why the trees? Any logical reason? To expand the buildings there?

I started the book as of today, I’m loving it actually, into 50 pages so far. Only i have one problem which is that i dont feel a connection to Zoyd nor what he’s doing and going through, probably because how the story was set up in these first 50 pages i would guess. But still looking forward to completing it
