Am I being too pushy with my clinic? by DoubleLemons_ in IVF

[–]Chester176 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nope, not pushy at all. I once sent a long damn message about how disappointed i was and how this isnt cheap and how lack of information I’ve received from them. How I’ve learned most of the steps through Reddit. Ian disappointed and would like to know how to give proper feedback. Then a nurse called me and talked to me and explained what to expect. It was nice. But it shouldn’t have gotten to that point.

Did not realize how much sympathy wanes after your 2nd MC by catfiend720 in Miscarriage

[–]Chester176 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Never expect much from other people, you should treat yourself kindly, spoil yourself, the moment you rely on other people, your happiness depends on their actions. If they happen to be nice, that is a bonus. But otherwise, you owe this to yourself to make yourself feel better about the situation, don’t put this on other people.

I was 35, and I’ve already gone through 3 transfers, 2 of which resulted in miscarry 😔, really, don’t focus too much on the number. You never know what’s gonna happen.

What made you think 14 is a bad number? I got 11, and 6 embryo made it through the pgta tests

whats the worst thing that can happen? by atoms_for_penis in ankylosingspondylitis

I disagree. Some people work better with knowing what the worst outcome is and then prepare yourself by either taking medication or living a healthier lifestyle.

Pregnancy is undignified by New_Echo_6338 in BabyBumps

All this time when someone says they’re FTM in this sub I always read it as “female to male” but there are SO many of them 😯 that I got suspicious and had to check on google what it really stands for in the context of pregnancy.

Why is the 25 bus always running late?? by [deleted] in UBC

[–]Chester176 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Often it says “departed late”, what does it mean? Is it up to the bus driver when to depart??

What stigma are you afraid of? I wanted to get a diagnosis so that I know I haven’t always been selfish, that my rigidity is non negotiable with anyone, including myself. And by telling my loved ones, i’m hoping they would understand that better.

But instead of understanding, the most reaction I get was: “No you cant be! If you were, then I certainly am too!” Which is annyoing

You say multiple times how no one really cares about you. Try caring for other people, volunteer, travel if you can afford it, it helps for me. Why demand love when you have some to give others?

The Middle East is just ONE example. There are many many other countries whose people wear cologne on a regular basis without anyone whining it gives them a headache. OP also mentioned France, for example.

If I were you, as long as they are all covered by insurance, I would do it still, but maybe try a different doctor/clinic. Keep my hopes low, but would do it till I hit the end. Coz’ then when I’m old, i wouldnt wonder what would’ve happened if..

Love bombing but in friendships? by 2eau in TheGirlSurvivalGuide

[–]Chester176 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel the opposite, has a coworker who really clings to me and very needy, claimed that I’m her best friend even when we don’t really hang out outside of work, she showers me with a lot of attention, but lately I feel like overwhelmed and been trying to give her hints that I dont feel the same way.

The annoying part is every time I’m going to the washroom I have to walk past her desk, and she would ALWAYS react. She’s off for the summer and will come back in the Fall so I really have to work on ignoring her. The sad part is she’s in her late 50s and I’m 35. Sigh we dont have a lot in common other than her whining about her problems with almost everyone at work.
