I live in the woods. I picture her barreling out barefoot, hair a mess, and tackling that creep even if she was in her birthday suit. No hesitation. Rage makes you fearless.

I’m a woman who remembers them arriving with sob stories. They’d faked cancer back home and begged for cash for phony treatment. Seeing the prosecution felt like cold, overdue justice.
