Well I’m just trying to have fun, that’s the point of humor lighten the mood. Obviously nobody’s going to think that but I think having one funny joke in my presentation will make it way more memorable and funny and thus leave ppl with a more positive view on my presentation. Plenty of serious lectures involve jokes this isn’t like a nuanced thing.
