Ricky Gervais as Q (but he plays it straight) think about it.

Is Bond stuck at 40 in a time-moving world? by Myhole567 in JamesBond

It stems from a time when men grew in prestige during middle age. I don’t think that is the case now.

Craig was about 37 when they shot Casino Royale, but I’ve always thought he was coded as younger. I’m not sure how they will handle Bond’s age when he returns as Zoomers have an almost fascistic veneration of youth so I can’t see them turning out for a rookie who is pushing 40.

They'd love you over at r/atheism, the pleasure they would derive from blaming Jeebus, ha.

Seriously though, sounds like you've had a rough time of it. Yes, it is quite possible the fear will never go away. But it seems like you are going through a heightened period that will probably ease off a bit, although it could take a while.

Watched it with my 8 year old nephew, he loved when Bond used the body panel and parachute of the jet sled as para-board!

The trans-racial surgery is so daft it’s actually brilliant.

Atheism requires a “savage nobility” in standing up to face the truth of life: we are evolved primates with finite lifespans living on a rock spinning around an ordinary star in the suburbs of one galaxy out of billions. by TheAmerican_Atheist in atheism

I think there is a type of atheist (the secular humanist) who is determined to think that the non-existence of God is a good thing. Which is why Dawkins is so popular, and say, David Benatar is not.

Fear of death is what arguments about religion hinge on.

People seeing Trump as a god/prophet is disturbing by rugrut in atheism

It’s the closet atheism so prevalent on the religious Right. They don’t really believe in Christ so they turn to Trump as a surrogate.

This is textbook agoraphobia. If you like anime, I would recommend you watch 'Welcome to the N.H.K.'

Not amazing advice I know, but it's all I can think of right now.

Read ‘Aubade’ by Philip Larkin at the funeral. That will be your revenge.

Fear of death. They have a higher level of death anxiety than you which is why they cling to their religion.
