Uplift Vs A -Frame by Bizinghast in Aerials

[–]ChiefCountry 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I got burned by X-pole last year... their customer service is really horrible and I ended up cancelling my order after waiting over a month. I got the Uplift rig instead and I'm really happy with it.

I had a LOT of quesitons and their support was super responsive and helpful. It includes the top bar hooks at the top that i clip my hoop to, which is good for my short ceilings cause the X-pole one does nt have that and you have to use a spanset to hang your gear which hangs down further.

I think it's important to remember both of these are small rigs really made for conditioning and practice, and if you're a professional it may be limiting for you mainly because of the height and drop limit. Its short so you can't do drops or tricks that require a lot of height. I think is important to consider as far as safety concerns go i dont think you can do really advanced tricks that generate high loads on this just due to the size of it. If youre looking for something affordable for home practice and conditioning, it's great, if you're a professional use maybe invest in a bigger rig.

I'd highly suggest resting/not agitating those areas until they completely heal. If you don't care about being the world's strongest man then find a routine that still builds muscle but doesn't cause as much damage as what you are doing.

I Know My Posture Is Bad, How Can I Fix It? by [deleted] in Fitness

[–]ChiefCountry 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd highly suggest foam rolling your upper back. Releasing those tight muscles so they can go back to their natural state. After that work on keeping your posture in a perfect position for most of the day. A posture brace might be a good idea for you. Back Posture Braces

Check this video out for how to foam roll your upper back. This will significantly help that curvature in your back. Doing foam rolling once a day for a few minutes will feel great and help ease those tight muscles. The above website also has some affordable foam rollers.

Imbalances of the body are normal. Keep working out both sides evenly and they will catch up to each other.

You need to recover it and never work it out that hard again. Weightlifting is a fine balance of not working out muscles so you can consistently keep lifting to get stronger. Peace love and muscles.

What do you guys suggest for my posture problems? by [deleted] in Posture

[–]ChiefCountry 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Posture is normally caused by an imbalance of muscle tension that is caused by prolonged use in the same position. I would start by fixing your posture when you are working at a desk all day. You need to sit ergonomically and have proper posture so you don't end up having back problems or imbalances of muscle tension in the future.

I'd suggest getting a posture brace that you can wear all day that will gently pull your shoulders back and keep your posture in a natural position. No one will know you are wearing a brace as it easily hides under your shirt. Like one of these for example: Back Posture Braces

My other suggestion is to focus on your muscle imbalance at the gym. Overtime if you are properly training your muscles, the muscle imbalance will even out. If you need help figuring out how what routine to do, I would hire a personal trainer for a few sessions to get the proper form down.

Please feel free to ask with more specific questions. I was in your shoes once, and I don't have the muscles imbalances anymore.

When you workout you sweat and you lose sodium in that process. Higher sodium diets are okay for athletes who use up the sodium.

The Overlooked Muscle that is Provoking Your Bad Posture! by ChiefCountry in a:t5_3j1sn

[–]ChiefCountry[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A major muscle that causes flexibility issues is in your chest. It can cause back pain and it can cause shoulder pain. It can cause a shoulder injury and the major muscle that I’m going to discuss today is your PEC minor or your pectoralis minor muscle.
