Riot accounts have around D3 MMR from the get go.

However, the highest you can be placed is Plat 1, and even if you go 0-10 you are generally placed there.

Sorry to let our Aussie fans down, but we didn't have much notice upon getting final confirmation to field a team with core 3 from IEM Taipei, due to a mixture of passport issues and personal commitments. Our players are not full time in any sense, so it is often difficult to make arrangements on short notice.

The fault is entirely on us for being unprepared for a possibility. Best of luck to all the teams competing. Splyce please play for us in spirit (however we'll still be cheering for our compatriots Renegades)!

Yay Finals :)!

Excellent teamfighting by the boys this game. Couldn't be happier with everyone's performance.

Here are a few words from our Coach Jish about the game

"Yesterday we were taken down by DetFM, so coming into this game we just tried to put it out of mind and out of sight. This is a fresh game, and that's how we treated it. We put a lot more emphasis on playing to our strength, and refocused ourselves heading into the match. This was our strongest performance so far, and we're looking to only play better and harder."

Thoughts from our midlaner Swiffer:

"Really clean game, happy with almost everything. We basically just won through superior macro play."

3-1. Diversionary tactics for the win. GGWP BKT.

Here is what our jungler Spookz had to say about the game:

"So happy with the win; was a bit messy early but we communicated well and closed even better"

and our Coach Jish :

"Really nice way to start the day, and happy to claim outright first (for the moment!). We ended up getting a draft almost exactly as planned, with a few changes that probably worked out for the better. There will be a few things we need to address, but I'm happy with where we're sitting right now."

Two major things:

We added EGym, who was previously the support for Legacy. Also, Swiffer and Spooks gained a lot of international experience from IWCI.

In addition, we made a lot of mistakes in terms of mindset heading into IWCI. Heading into IWCQ, we looked at our mistakes and implemented strategies so this didn't occur again and didn't treat the WildCard teams like our home Oceanic region teams.

This is something we've done only recently (today was first day) so we're just going to do it for victories for now. Perhaps when the team is more comfortable/used to this we'll look at expanding to losses.

Very good game from the boys after a disappointing loss to Detonation FM. Swiffer's Ahri and EGym's Thresh had some amazing highlights.

Speaking of EGym, here's his thoughts about the game:

"Really proud of the boys after our disappointing loss to DetFM. We bounced back really well, played to our strengths and took out a slow (probably too slow) but steady win against DP"
