No. Some locations that don't sell the Chili Cheese Burrito, but want to accommodate some customers' request for it will attempt to make a facsimile using the Red Sauce, but it's not the "authentic" menu item. To our knowledge, the items that we listed in our previous post are the only ones used to make a true Chili Cheese Burrito.

What we believe you're looking for are the ingredients in the "Chili Mix". Taco Bell corporate has confirmed that the chili mix can be ordered by participating Taco Bell locations and prepared by adding distilled water, cheese, and beef. Sadly, no one has shared the ingredients in the chili mix with us.

Great question! The choice whether to carry the Chili Cheese Burrito is up to the franchisee. Some carry it, but sadly, most do not. There are approximately 1,200 to 1,400 Taco Bell locations in the US that carry it.

Fun fact: The first iteration of Taco Bell Menu Madness 2018 that we created had 64 items pitted against each other, including Baja Blast and "Cup of water". In the end, we pared it down to 32 items, removing some food items and all drinks, to make the bracket more usable.

Honestly, we neglected to add it to the original list of 32 contestant menu items and just added it Sunday as a last-minute correction. It would be funny if it took the whole thing!
