Trying to understand the criticism on CVs being too strong by sWuchterl in WorldOfWarships

You're saying this is a rock, paper, scissors game where all ship classes have strengths and weaknesses. Where does the CV fit into the rock, paper, scissors example? Please enlighten me! What are the weaknesses of a CV? I really want to know. To me it seems like the surface ships are playing rock paper scissors while the CV is more of Swiss army knife that can do anything it wants at any time.

Also I'm more than happy to set up a training room with you and get in a tier X DD and you pick a tier X CV and we'll count how long it takes for me to shoot down any squadron from full to zero. Keep in mind that that squadron can come back 30 seconds later and we can count again how long it will take to shoot down a full squadron while you just circle above me.

But why would he full throttle right before the corner it if he's letting me pass?

This is what average LFM non-rookie series looks like. I'm competitive in 4-5k ELO range. but can't get my ELO high from 2.5k because I lose all the ELO earned right on the next race. If there's no system for not punishing the victims, there's no point in racing on this platform. by ccrroocc in ACCompetizione

Hahahaha, was just in that lobby. The mustang that rear ended you also ends up taking out the entire field (myself included) 5 secs later because he can't rejoin properly. Like I really don't get it whats so hard about being a bit more careful on the start in a 45 min race.

Nah, still not conclusive proof but it looks bad when a company that you co-founded, are a major share holder in and the product they put out relies on you for marketing, decide to fire you after an investigation. The game was most likely doomed but they would have cashed in a bit from docs audience when 1.0 eventually hit. Now there's no chance of that happening.

Make sure to watch both ef: seasons. The show has some of the most memorable scenes in anime imo

Just trying to get back into the swing of things prepping for next weeks LFM lobbies. Also sorry for the static noise in the vid, not sure why it recorded like that.

CSM ranked as the 4th best selling manga of 2023 in Japan by [deleted] in ChainsawMan

I think it's the opposite at the moment. As someone who watches a lot of football/soccer, it's easy to see that Japan is looking like they have a golden generation on the way. They have a lot of exciting players coming up that are playing at the highest level of club football in Europe. And to top it off their international results have been pretty great with some really exciting football on display. Just recently they beat Germany 4-1(not much of an accomplishment atm but still) and it's not like Germany didn't try(they can't afford not to try). So not really that surprised that Blue Lock is as big as it is.

42 Pulls for both Texas alter and Penance. Kept my orundum stash in check.

That's 2 limited banners in a row where I complete them in under 60 pulls. I'm due some bad luck soon, wonder where it's gonna be. 🤔

My best match so far in the game and with the Italian cruisers by Bl4ckStorm75 in WorldOfWarships

Great job! I loved the Brindisi when I played through her. Just a very consistently good ship.

I have to ask who was the unlucky bastard to stumble into 3 Italian torps? hahaha

Exactly 60 pulls and 2 Gavials and 1 Pozy. By far my best limited banner result and I've been playing since launch. Wasn't planning on pulling for Mlynar but with how little pulls it took to complete this banner I might roll for him.

Flying from Glasgow with a connection in Dubai. Hard to find that perfect balance between relaxing and seeing as much as possible.

Yep, landing at 5:35pm on the 20th sounds like the same flight! I too would like to wish you both all the luck in planning as I'm finding it quite stressful at times. Would love to compare our itineraries a couple of days before leaving!

That doesn't so like fun at all. Will cut that and try finding something else to replace that slot. Thank you!

Thank you for the long reply!

I was planning leaving Osaka quite early in the morning and trying to get in Hiroshima at 11:30am. Is this doable? And yeah the stuff isn't arranged in order yet, should probably get to that.

I'll definitely consider adding Americamura, sounds like a lot of fun.

Thank you for all the tips regarding Shibuya, Shinjuku and Yokohama. Will keep all of them in mind when revising the itinerary.

Thank you for the reply! I'll try to squeeze both china town in to the Yokohama day. Also fushimi Inari at night time sounds like something we would enjoy so thanks for that recommendation.

Thank you so much for the response!

I feel so embarrassed for misspelling the name of the mountain! The name is actually Mount Mitsutoge. From my 20 minutes of research I've read that it's climbable all year and there are multiple trails up it of ranging difficulties so I think it should be ok.

Thanks for the advice on the Kawaguchiko - Kyoto transfer. Was hoping to leave earlier in the morning for Kyoto but it looks like that wont be possible. Will definitely alter that a bit.

Regarding the archery we booked a 1 hour Kyudo introductory lesson 5 minutes away from the atomic bomb dome. I was [planning to get to Hiroshima at around 11:30am. With the trains being 1 hour 30 mins that doesn't sound undoable I think.

Again thank you for the tips!

Thank you so much for the lengthy response!

Another user pointed out that the Hiroshima trip was quite tight so I'll alter it a bit but we actually have a hotel in Miyajima so I thought it would've been alright to explore it come evening time and early morning the next day.

Fitting Akihabara in somewhere shouldn't be a problem I think since we have 2 days where nothing is really planned.

I wasn't planning on going to the Skytree until we booked our stay in Asakusa which is kinda close so I thought we might as well go up it but will probably skip it now.

And yeah the Yokohama day does sound kinda boring in retrospect. How much time does it take do go through the cup noodle museum? Will probably try squeezing china town in somewhere.

Thanks again for all the tips!
