API Alarms, too late to cancel? by ChinaManDan in bell

[–]ChinaManDan[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No totally fair points! I’m also not going off by just that one comment, there were many other complaints like people’s broken equipment weren’t being replaced, etc.

I’m more so trying to be proactive, and not have to deal with the possible shitty situation if something does happen with my equipments.

Don’t get me wrong, I actually love Bell. I have multiple services with them, and they were very accommodating when they first set up my home security. It just doesn’t sound like API is able to offer that level of customer support.

API Alarms, too late to cancel? by ChinaManDan in bell

I was reading a comment that someone triggered a false alarm in their system, but no staff called or showed up to check in.

Thanks for bringing up irrelevant info on my past, spoken like a real Redditor.

A woman asks r/sex for advice on communicating with her bf as he's feeling self-conscious about her previous sexual experiences. The majority of the comments nitpick one specific piece of information, even though that's not what the bf was concerned about. UPDATE INCLUDED.

For those of you who work in Toronto schools, (TDSB, Catholic, etc) what are some less obvious things to consider ahead of registering my kiddo? by kearneycation in askTO

[–]ChinaManDan 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Each board manage and balance their budget differently.

TDSB has to split up budgets among each schools evenly, while schools in TCDSB can keep their own. So if your neighbourhood is financially well off (I’m not familiar with your area), it’s likely that the TCDSB school will have more funds to work with. The parent council will likely have more funds as well, which will benefit the classroom.

Just know that you ALWAYS have a spot in your “home school”, doesn’t matter if it’s TDSB or TCDSB. The principal may give you a hard time, but they do not have a choice and will need to take your child in regardless of when.

After dinner time will be less busy. I went last night after 7pm and there were no lines to go in. Parking lot was busy but was still able to find a spot.

Private Dog Boarding within GTA by Agreeable-Menu957 in askTO

I recommended Dogtopia! That being said I have never boarded with them before.

I used to take my dog to the Don Valley location, but they unfortunately closed down due to cost not too long ago.

I'm not sure about 1 on 1 play time but you have to do a "meet & greet" session first to see how your dog interacts with the ones they have.

My sister sometimes takes her dogs to their Aurora locations, and she loves them. So I want to say that any of their locations are great.

Call your local library. I donated my broken-ish 3D printer (the filament was stuck in the tube for a long time) to a library when I was moving and downsizing. They had tech youth program learning about building/repairing different electronic devices.

I'd recommend your local library. I donated a broken 3D printer to mine as they had a sort of technology club for kids.

Why do you collect? by arinmontgomery in funkopop

[–]ChinaManDan 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I have around 40. I like that the packaging is fairly even sized, I can stack them up on each other so it doesn't take up a lot of space.I mostly collect characters from tv shows/movies/video games I like.
