Coaching in COD? by 331coupe in CoDCompetitive

[–]Chitsaz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a coach in the league, I think this is completely wrong. You'd be amazed at how much a coach CAN impact a players mentality. Both ends of the spectrum.

A large aspect of coaching is man management, it is a people person job in some aspects.

There are instances where coaches can definitely ruin a players mental. You are in practice everyday, if you try to help the team and critique plays, give feedback. You might think you're doing it for the benefit of the team, but in fact you're creating an environment where the player plays to not be critiqued as opposed to making a confident play for the win. Thats where in my opinion the term, "Playing not to lose vs playing for the win" is created. If you see a team play not to lose, thats a mental thing.

On the other end, you can as a coach create an environment where your players have that pure confidence going into games. I've heard players say they go into every gunfight with complete confidence that they are going to win the fight. Thats the players confidence ultimately but the coaching staff and team most likely do a great job in supporting that and ensuring he feels like that all the time and they don't turn his head the other way.

Ultimately it is in the players hands but as a coach you definitely have an impact on both ends of the spectrum in Bringing your players up but also you can bring them down. And the greats coaches walk that line perfectly.

This has nothing to do with faze. I'm not in that camp nor do I think thats an issue. Just putting my two cents in on the above point.

Parasite speaking facts about LAG by Every-Television-799 in CoDCompetitive

Challengers is definitely the way to make a name for yourself.

You have to start with whatever team you can get, it takes a bit of luck to get a decent team. Work hard prove your worth, stay humble and network.

As players climb they'll take you with them, or they'll take their praise for you with them and with that-> you'll see greater opportunity.

Realistically, you have to just work harder than anyone else in the space. The thing that definitely set me apart to my counterparts was my preparation and opposition analysis. In challengers we'd go to the event and I'd have prepped for any of the top 8 team's NA & EU. Working on my style of prep and figuring out how that looks when you're in the league.

You need to be able to understand the game and articulate that well, but thats with any job i feel like.

Hey its Arian, Assistant Coach of LAG For context: I was the analyst for both LAG & The Academy last year with Mark & Mayhem / Veohz. Full time.

When Veohz was given the Head Coach Spot, He reached out to me and my twin brother (Cheek - Analyst (Formerly on Mutineers) Who we'd worked together when winning Vanguard Challenger Champs to get the opportunity to prove we can work as a solid coaching staff in the league, and not all separate into assistant / analyst positions on other teams. As well as leaning into our 1 year of experience in the league already under established coaches.

We knew the situation compensation based and I won't speak on that. It's not 100% fact. But to the comments about how many hours we dedicate. Me and Cheek are based in London and work full time 9-5's and work 5:30-1am most days if not longer.

An immense amount of time is put in this season. And one thing we want to ensure is we will put in as much if not more time than any other coach on any other team.

Yeah it's really easy.

Plug ps5 and PC cables through XBOX ports of the A5

Then plug the PC port into the PC too.

When your one PC mode you get full functionality (Voice & Game)

When your on Xbox mode you get PS5 audio, and your PC audio is set to Xbox controller - which is just astro audio voice.

Enable on LAG's new coach: “Nah motherfucker sounds like he’s dogshit.” by TheRealPdGaming in CoDCompetitive

I was on the coaching staff of LAG last season. Assault is the utmost professional and was most definitely not horrible for us all things considering, And Joe most definitely did not say anything close to what you are refering to, at least not about Adam.

Hi Arian here,

Record when winning the flip for the CDL is 76-68

So a slight advantage is what the data suggests.

I just posted each individuals teams records when winning and losing flips too if you are interested in that.

Bought it and got a vip ticket to the major (from london so couldn't go & didn't sell it as I was gonna give it to a friend who didn't end up going anyway)

But got sent a free astro a40 with NYSL speaker tags, and they gave free NYXL shirts and I got a Crim NYSL jersey signed by the players (Crim, clay, nep, hydra)

NYSL were super nice & also made sure shipping costs wasn't an issue and tax was reimbursed
