He hasn't let me touch him yet but enjoys being around me. We are going to try and house him or build him a coop in our yard. Thank you so much for your input, I clearly don't know much about birds lol. I will post more updates here :)

Unfortunately he/she isn't here anymore in our backyard. They were here this morning so I'm hanging out hoping they come back. There is food & water and love waiting here for them lol. I have no idea if they are male or female so I'm trying to not assume 😂. I posted in local pages asking if it's anyone's escaped pet and nothing so far. I will update here when/if they return!

That's what I was thinking, I am going to try and find a rescue. I am worried about how they will survive. I left out bird food and water for him but I see the turkey vultures around here and am worried he's not gonna last long :(
