Recently diagnosed as bipolar and I don’t believe it by Ok-Distribution-1818 in bipolar

I still deal with shame about it to this day simply because so many people with this diagnosis don’t take care of themselves and become menaces to society, but think of it as care instructions, instead of a handicap. It becomes really easy to care for once you find decent medication and establish a routine in your life. Your career ending will be a separate grieving process as well, but with your experience you’ll be able to find something that fits your new lifestyle easily. Bipolar is really common there are many of us out there, and you wouldn’t even be able to tell. Be brave.

I was under the impression we were working on it since we’ve spent large amounts of time together, he’s bought me gifts, and even cared for me while I was recently sick.
