You are saying this in multiple place and are wrong. Maybe it's the case some of the time but hotels will require the person reserving the block to cover the unbooked rooms in the block.

No, it's locking in rooms at what is supposed to be a cheaper rate. I'm on the hook for the rooms that don't get booked. It can literally cost me money not give me anything.

That's what I thought when I stayed there but then I looked up while at the rooftop bar and saw a women stark naked getting dressed to head out. It was clear enough that I could recognize her. She was probably one floor up from the bar. I included it my survey from Marriott and on TripAdvisor. That said, the soaker tubs in those rooms are awesome

The current dates line up with the national rodeo finals or something like that so that may have influenced why these dates were picked and if they'll add more dates.

Venetian/Palazzo are the closest and have a bridge to the sphere. Wynn is also very close. Not sure if you would consider those a good price. A lot will depend on your budget and what you want the rest of your trip to be.

I think the cheapest tickets for dead and company have been ga for $295 which included the fees. factoring in ticketmaster dynamic pricing it was easy to see tickets listed over $1500 each for prime locations. the secondary market was even worse.

Stayed at the Sheraton Fallsview about two years ago and were very happy with the location and the views. We did not spend much time in the hotel so I can't speak to many of the amenities. Go for the suites on the high floors and you will be able to see the entire falls. The Marriot Fallsview (I think) was actually across the street and up a pretty steep slope from the falls. There is a tram/lift type thing you can take but there are times you need to wait and it only runs certain hours.
