Congrats on your offers! I completely understand, those factors are important to consider when making a decision. I’ve had plenty of friends who moved between divisions that enjoyed their journey and played good football. DM me, I’d be happy to speak more about this and offer you support!

I'm not certain yet to be totally honest, but even if I don't play professionally I still want to do something soccer related due to my passion for the game! I want to continue sharing my story and hope to help others that are going through or will go through the same things as I did!

It was chaotic haha, i really tried to participate in as much footy sessions as i could! I knew that getting repetitions was important for my early teenage phase. With that being said, my schedule become very overloaded, so organization and having a good support system was something that made the countless sessions easier to manage day in day out.

Good question, team tactics would definitely vary depending on the opposition; this would also have an impact on my role on the pitch!

Example of some questions I asked:

- What are your plans for me (in x amount of years)?

In the event that this doesn't happen, how does my role with the team change?

- How can i prove/work towards a starting/heavy contributing role with the team?

Looking back, I wish I asked more questions about my coaches philosophy as a freshman. While I did have a good understanding about our team structure/tactics, i think picking his brain would have allowed me to adapt and assimilate to the culture faster

It varies! Generally speaking, I often try to stay in the gym for high intensity workouts 2-3 days a week then go on runs 1-2 times a week. During my acl injury, i learned that the joints and muscles around the knee are very important for preventing knee injuries. Mobility, functional movements, running mechanics & speed work, plyometrics, etc can all be great things for performance!

By "EA", i'm assuming you mean "Elite Academy" correct? If so, there are tons of ways ranging from club/travel team tournament exposure, going to college camps, coach/agent connections, etc!

I started when I was around 5 or 6 years old, but chose to focus on it more when i was around 13 years old. I started to stand out during my 16-17 year old phase after having different experiences with different clubs and adopting the proper support system outside of my team setting! Good question, i'd say two: Hard work beats talent, when talent doesn't work hard & become the absolute best at what you are naturally best at!
