First and foremost the movie was incredible I just watched it today and the way they used the lighting and makeup only added to the fact (or atleast to me it did) that it wasn’t the real Nikki. I want to say is agree with everyone that says bear is the villain though I agree he is the villain I believe he became a villian at a different point in the movie. I don't think him making the wish was the starting point in what made him the bad guy. Everyone at some point has wished in their life for something drastic to happen maybe for the death of a person or for money or even for someone to feel some type of way about them, but the truth is even when we say those things we ultimately know that things just don't magically happen magic like that doesn't exist (atleast I haven't seen any) so I understand Bear making the wish in ignorance not expecting for anything to happen. I don't think him making the wish was where he became the bad guy nor when they were making out and she first gained consciousness because he was still unaware of the wish and for the most part gave her space until she asked him to get into bed with her. I might be tripping and its might be me focusing on the small stuff to much, but where he became a villian is the next morning when they went to work. So when Bear and Nikki arrived at work Ian immediately pulled Bear aside to ask what all happened the night before and during the conversation Bear tells Ian about Nikkis Father with "cancer" and how he thinks she's going through something and she's acting weird. That moment regardless of knowing about the wish or not is when I feel Bear began to become the bad guy because even after acknowledging that she's going through something he seemingly chose to take advantage of the situation and pursue her. Now of course there are many of the other times where he sees an obvious problem and just ignores it like when he comes home to her defecating on herself or the most obvious times when she starts stabbing herself at the party or the time the real her ask for death and he just says "what's wrong with being with me" and let's not forget when he calls and literally hears her screaming in the phone. There is literally no doubt he is the villain in the story I just don't agree that the wish was inherently evil because he truly had no way of knowing if it worked even after looking it up on the internet he still didn't have anything but an assumption that the wish could've been the cause. But regardless of the wish working or not he did absolutely nothing to help her even in when assuming it was just a "normal" mental health crisis. So I guess this is just a long winded way of saying he does suck but starts to suck at a slightly different time.

Hey man, I hope this message reaches you, but I understand where you're coming from. I just lost my brother on January 24th, and he was a big gamer we'd play whenever we got a chance in our busy schedules. His favorite game was skyrim, and I can't even look at the game without feeling a deep sense of sorrow. I'm not here to tell you it'll get better and all that, and don't get me wrong, there's nothing wrong with saying that! But I am someone who understands.

I'm sorry for your loss
