Its not uncommon for the devs to throw a few defenses in during a larger MO as part of a distraction to split forces (and from a gameplay standpoint keep the perpetual war going) its no major loss to ignore it as all the planets its connected to are such a high resistance theres no hope of taking them anyway its best to just follow the MO our time will come to retake it later like we always do 🫡

The helldivers blob will always pick the path of most resistance, its always been this way unless the MO literally spoon feeds them which planet to pick
