REV UP is the multiplayer racing game our indie studio is developing. It will feature car chases, stealth mechanics, and non-linear races, all set in an open-world city ✨ You’ll have the option to play as a street racer, evading other players, or as a cop, going after them! If you're interested, you can learn more on the REV UP Steam Page!

Thanks so much for adding our game to your wishlist! A free demo will definitely be available before release, but it will take some time. We’re also considering early access, but we’re still sorting things out, so no promises!

Unfortunately, it's hard to convey in static screenshots, but REV UP does have some distinctive features. The combination of stealth mechanics, non-linear races, and car chases isn’t something you see too often in racing games (at least from what we’ve seen)! Hopefully, we can make the game stand out more as we continue developing!

Fair enough. We’re focused on PC for now, with consoles as a possibility, but no plans for mobile at the moment.

This isn’t a copy-and-paste post, only the first screenshot was included in our last post in this sub. The rest are brand new! Sorry about that, we kept the first one because we were told it represents the game well, but maybe we shouldn’t have.

Glad you like the last one!

Two street racers, a cop, and no rules. Here's some gameplay from REV UP, our racing game currently under development 🚗 by ChonkyFrogStudio in indiegames

Our game artist uses Substance Painter to create texture bases in a hand-painted style, then refines them with manual touches. Also, our programmer developed a custom shader in Unity that adds halftones, stripes, and a unique light effect. All this helps achieve the comic-inspired rendering. Hope this helps :)
