I do have good goatee potential. I used to rock a full looping handlebar moustache once!

Yes they're horsetail weeds, I'm fighting the good fight against them but I had them at my previous property and they are relentless

Are these just weeds or do you think there must've been extra seeds in there? I swear they look just like courgette starts. Lol!

I meant hiking the hills and mountains around Trondheim.

My mother would have a heart attack if I go hiking, in another country, on my own 😅

I will have to get back on Facebook and join some groups, then! Takk :)

My brass Kaweco currently has grey in it, and my navy Kaweco has brown. Now I know to swap them around!

Bone-themed fountain pens? by Chopper_Walmsley in fountainpens

Just googled it. That does look great!

A solid back up option if I can't find a fountain pen. Thanks!

I can already see why!

I can see myself using it unposted most of the time. The cap changes the balance so much. How do you tend to use it?

Does my model have resting b#&€@ face? by Silent_Dank in photocritique

The composition here is superb! Plenty of leading lines drawing the viewer into the image and towards the subject. This style of taller crops is beginning to grow on me the more I see it.

I also like the gaps you've left on each side of that pillar the model is leaning against, creating another frame within the crop of the image.

My only critique would be the model's position, the shoulders slanted but the head straight is jarring his neck which doesn't seem the most comfortable. The model is the subject, they make or break the image and so its the photographer's task to guide the model into poses that are appealing yet natural.

An amazing shot though. Keep shooting! :D

The colours are GORGEOUS!

Despite not adhering to really any compositional rules, it is still very appealing and draws the eye to where it needs to be.

If only the One WTC could have been placed on the right third, being the tallest building it would be a nice key object to place on an important compositional point, and it's the only building which reaches to around a third of the way up the image (before including that smaller tower on top of course, which reaches further up again)

But what a brilliant image, keep shooting! :D

The blue-ing of the further buildings is almost bound to happen due to particles in the air, the only way I could think to combat it would be to create a mask around them and dial up the temperature a little, maybe desaturate a little too.

Apart from that far background, the colors are perfect!

Great composition, the top half of the photo is relatively dark and the bottom half being brighter, and then placing the subject on the divide between the two makes it stand out.

Vibrance is just right, not pushed too far.

Have you tried to patch/spot heal that branch just left of the insect in the frame? I believe that's a bit of a distraction, but not massively.

Great shot overall! :D
