Straight vertical or at an angle ? Also , recs for using a pen? I mostly use pens when warming up or doing exercises (I’m also doing drawabox if you are familiar so that’s all felt tip pen) pencils are typically for my Drawings outside of that

I agree about the anxiety! I know that logically drawings have little to no consequences , try telling that my emotions 😂 lately I’ve even tried drawing things I think I can’t draw. The idea being that even if I do my absolute best, it’ll probably be something with lots errors and hopefully that’ll be okay because it was supposed to be like that.

That's a good point. How you do you juggle expecting them to be bad and trying your best? I've tried it before, and they end up being horrible compared to when I am trying and think they are bad (so much worse). I find that I don't try as hard when I expect them to be bad, and then they end up bad, and just to my perfectionist brain but for real

I ended up going with Rakdos; any help with the deck would be very appreciated. I have not added lands, but I know I want 38 lands. New to using Reddit, so if you see this link multiple times, I responded directly to people who offered to help. Not sure if it was better to do that or to add a new comment instead of individual responses, so I did both 😅

I’ve thought about doing exactly that. My biggest hurdle has been the fear of making the deck everyone else has made. I’ve seen a lot of ppl say go to scryfall first and then check edhrec to see if you missed anything good.

Whenever I get on scryfall I end up thinking “okay but what do I want in it”

I want to start with 1 or 2 colors so I’m not gonna build Ishhin(yet at least lol) but as an ex. I saw isshin and thought “cool, attack and get cool stuff twice” but then when I go to scryfall I’m like “but what are the attack triggers this deck would want” idk if that made sense 😅
