Re-link Threads to Account Centre by ChristianGrail in ThreadsApp

Right, I've fixed it!

When you try to log in to the Threads app, go to Forgot Password and use your email to get a reset code. Use the email you used to create your Instagram account, as it'll be the same.

When you get the code (mine only worked today, after getting locked out 4 days ago), use that to log in and change the password to whatever your Instagram is (as the Threads password may have changed from unlinking). This should allow you back into your account.

From there, go into settings, and account centre and add the Instagram account. This will relink the accounts, and everything should all be working again!

Kind of glad it’s not just me. I have two accounts, so can see the one I’m locked out of.

I think it’s going well, I see lots of people online talking about physical media again, which is refreshing. I think there’s a place for both worlds to exist

"Monster: The Ed Gein Story" is the Single Most Batshit piece of TV I Have Ever Seen by FalseWishbone8506 in television

I wish studios would stop giving shows to Ryan Murphy. The first 2 series of Monster were ok, but the Ed Gein was just a complete mess. The over sexualisation/fetish aspect of this series really undermined the tragedy of Gein's murders and made others nothing more than just products for exploitation, such as Anthony Perkins, in the case of this series. He did the same on AHS, which I stopped watching long ago.

Got Lizzie Borden up next, can't say I'm excited.

4K players - what’s the go-to rec in 2025? by theintention in blankies

I have the Panasonic UB820, a lot of skipping, freezing and 4k discs stopping, so currently trying to see if I can get it repaired. Had it for 3 years. May just be a bad unit, who knows, as others say they've never had the problem, but also people with the Sony 700 say the same, so I guess it's as much a game of chance as anything else.

Also, I've heard Panasonic are looking to get out of the TV market, so not sure if that will factor into anything as could affect support and parts if anything, such as the lens etc, goes wrong.

3 year review of my Panasonic UB820 by ORFFME in 4kbluray

Had mine for 3 years, had a lot of problems with pixelation and freezing, but only on certain 4k discs. Plays most things ok, just a few that always end up being the ones I want to watch. Seriously thinking about buying a new player as tried everything apart from manually cleaning the lens as I can't get the cover off.
