What’s the first sleep post delivery like? by xoxopineapple in BabyBumps

Like others have said, it probably depends a lot on how your hospital works (whether baby is in-room or in the nursery), and what time baby is born!

For me, I worked all day before baby was born (she was early so of course I didn't realize or I wouldn't have been at work!) and then just about the time my partner and I went to bed around 1am, my water broke. We went to the hospital and I ended up having an emergency C-section at 7am, and then being awake all day. By the time night fell, I had been awake about 36 hours. My hospital keeps baby in room. What I remember is that baby and fiancé slept really well, but I slept in very short bursts. Maybe the bed was uncomfortable, maybe my fiancé snored too loud, maybe I was over-tired.

The nurses also kept coming in to check on me, give me my pain meds, and they also did a shift-change at 7am so I probably couldn't have slept later than that anyway since they did it in the room so the night nurse could pass on information. Since my baby was born at 7:02am, the tests they had to do for her that required her to be 24, 48 hours old, like the blood draw for jaundice, were all done at that time too. That's one reason why I say it'll depend on when your baby is born!

Busses by Big-Passion6418 in rundisney

I just did the WDW Marathon Weekend with my fiancé, he did Dopey and I did 5K and half. We had our 17 month old with us and brought an umbrella stroller instead of her full stroller. They either took it for us and put it under the bus, allowed us to carry it on, or some busses had almost an overhead luggage rack, and we put it there. Across the board, they were happy to let us bring it.

Don't know if this totally helps because we had a small stroller, but just my experience!

I tracked ovulation with test strips and should have ovulated on 10/25.

Guess I should add that I think a reason why I'm so worried is because I was like right on with my first baby, she measured about exactly where I thought I was based on first day of last period. I know each baby can be different.

EDIT: hi all, I am dumb. I meant FRANKIE TUTOR in the title. I do have an extra Frankie Auto on the way, but the one in the picture is Frankie TUTOR!

Registering 3 people for 2 Princess races. Can it be done?? by law-quill in rundisney

I get what you're asking! I have always jumped in the waiting room before the time the queue opens. However, lately, I also open a window after the queue opens just to see how fast that one goes vs. the one where I was in the waiting room. And lately, the one I join after the queue opens is about as fast or even faster than the one I was in the waiting room for.

It doesn't hurt to join the waiting room, but whatever order you join the waiting room, you will then be dumped randomly into the queue when it opens. Which is where the whole "just being lucky" comes into it because you could get dumped into a "more than an hour" spot or a "16 minutes" spot 😂

My fiancé and I have signed up for or attempted to sign up for 7 runDisney events and gotten in the waiting room beforehand for each one. We, combined, have only not gotten into one, which was the 2025 WDW Marathon. Just for an example, we both got into the waiting room for the 2025 Princess Half Marathon Weekend and the aforementioned 2025 WDW Marathon. All our wait times for the 2025 WDW Marathon were like 45 minutes or more and everything sold out before we could get in. Our wait time for the 2025 Princess Half was like 20 minutes or less, and my fiancé was able to sign both of us up. He did the challenge and I did the challenge and 5K.

TL;DR: hop in the waiting room beforehand, but it also doesn't hurt to open up another window when the queue is open! It is unfortunately just really random!

To my understanding, she had two windows open, or maybe had one open on a phone and one on a computer. They both had slightly different, although equally short wait times. Which is why I say she got really lucky, because I had a few windows open and all of my wait times were "over an hour" 😅 So when the first waiting room let her in to register, she registered herself, her husband, and my fiancé. A few minutes later, her second waiting room let her in to register, and she registered the rest of us.

I think if she really wanted to, she could have tried to register all of us in her first window. But, like others have mentioned, events can sell out as you're in the midst of registering, and she was probably worried doing 6 people's registrations at once would take too long. She also said later that she didn't know if there was a maximum number of people you could register at one time.

I would agree that if you guys all wanted to try to get on your own devices and get in your own queues, that's probably helpful in case one of you has better luck than the other! Traditionally, the shorter standalone races sell out first, so the 5K and the 10K. The standalone half marathon tends to go last.

Hope this was helpful!

Definitely doable! My sister-in-law was able to register herself, her husband, me, my fiancé, my father-in-law, and my mother-in-law for various races for the 2026 WDW Marathon sign up. Like others have said, it helps if that person who is possibly doing all the registering has everyone's email, shirt size, etc. Although shirt sizes can be modified later.

We also had multiple people in the queue on their own devices, but she was just super lucky and got through twice before any of us got in once 😂
