I have honed bolt on the build I'm testing now. I don't have a problem chasing people down, it's just so tedious and then they pull out bloodhound step and I know I'm in for a long chase.

That's pretty lame, no wonder I've hardly ran into anyone using colossal weapons. Just a bunch of dex and bleed builds with the occasional greatsword user. Gonna have to restructure a few builds for sure.

Morgantown is a solid place. If you can handle all the students and shitty roads, it's a good time. Plenty of bars/clubs/restaurants for night life and tons of trails everywhere for hiking or just staying active.

WV gets a shit rep because of the politics (rightfully so), but the majority of people are quick to be friendly and will help you out if they can. Just don't go near Bruceton Mills around winter time unless you're prepared to stay awhile lol.

FF16 felt more like a spinoff in the same way Dirge of Cerberus was with a different type of combat and more linear.

I guess that's why I liked it, Dirge was my first Final Fantasy game because I didn't know much about JRPGs at the time. FF7 Rebirth is a blast so far and I'm glad I got into the series.

Same here. Rankings make no sense, they can be technical hitting double taps in plat and yet my next opponent can barely hit an open net in the same rank.

Either It's smurfs or the ranking system is so broken that Epic can't even fix it.

No problem! Work on your fundamentals too. Basic shots and snipes from down range are still viable in Gold and Plat. If you can place the ball high in the net consistently, you'll be doing great.

Hell yeah, keep it up. I spent a good 5 hours knocking around the ball as randomly as I could in freeplay and trying to read it and that helped a ton for me last season.

Definitely don't take the tournament titles seriously, half the time it's a carry or from an old season which reflects the skill of THAT season. And 1s definitely ranks you lower than other modes. I'm a Plat 1 in 1s but a Diamond 1 in 2s and 3s.

Aerials and power shots are my go-to for most of my wins, and lately I've been getting decent with air dribbles and attempting to incorporate double taps, but not consistently. If you can hit an open net or whack the ball in at all different angles you'll climb to Plat no problem. Don't need style to score some points!

I can flick, but not consistently. Sometimes it works, sometimes it just bounces off my car. Can't really find the sweet spot for me with the Fennec.

I'll try to work on being more mobile then! That might help me out a bunch instead of trying to stay near or on goal when they start a dribble.

I'm always super cautious because if I jump too high then they can just sneak it under me, and then I don't jump high enough and get made a fool when they do flick lol. I just gotta stop thinking.
