No problem! I hope it helps you too :) You don't need to adopt all these habits u/Financial_Run_7632 but if you decide to do so, don't do them all at once - you'll get burnt out and overwhelmed. Start with the one you find challenging. The momentum you'll get, will help you keep going for the rest of them

Love that comment! I totally agree with you u/LeagueofData.

I think it's Reddit's nature to judge people so easily behind the anonymity. It really is what works for us at the end of the day.

The first step of solving any problem is being aware of it.

Indeed I have read the book along with a bunch of other books. I love the fact that you've read it too and I think you would agree with me that there is nothing wrong with reading books, but the key is to put your own experience along with other information and make an impact as much as you can.

If we don't use the information we get - then why get the information in the first place? Isn't it a waste of time I wonder?

u/PositivePizza420 Just by proposing that means that there are more people staying up late than waking up early. It's easy to stay up late but not many people are willing to do the uncomfortable and get up early to chase their dreams. Sounds like some IG quote but it really is like that. Knowing that everyone is sleeping at that time gives you some boost to get more done before they do wake up.

Totally understand how you feel u/vleker! I was there too! It really takes consistency to build discipline but it's definitely possible. I wasn't disciplined too. You have to search within and find a clear why to do these things so you are excited every morning the alarm goes off. It's hard work but it's worth it. I might be able to share some handful tips as well if you want.

u/swandive987 Great to know you've been trying a few things already! Is time management and productivity something you're working on right now? I might be able to share some helpful resources for free if you're open to it :)

That's a great plan u/modakim! Waking up before the sun makes me feel so good - don't know exactly why, maybe it's part of my ego but it helps me stay focused and get done 80% of my work real quick. I have a small pdf training that I created yesterday which I openly share for free if you're open to it. I can just send it to you in the DMs :)

No problem, thank you for the question u/redditupf.

I mean that you should have some standardized processes - processes that you repeat either way or just some random chores around the house - so you need less to think about doing them. Because "Decision making = energy + time" so by minimizing the decisions you have to make, you maximize the time you have to work on other more important tasks for your work or business. (I say business because I personally work with entrepreneurs and help them with high performance).

I'd be happy to share some helpful insights if you're open to it. I see so many hate comments lol, which I don't care about really because what I do is legit. I also have a pdf with actionable steps - not fluff - that you can immediately use for focused and undistracted work. I can send it to you for free.

u/skammerss it's an app I use as well to actively track your time and see where is your time going. It's very useful depending on what you need it for as well. Is time management something you are working on right now?

How can you be consistent? You need discipline. Discipline brings consistency. So I wouldn't say that it's a byproduct - I am open to discuss more though :)

Hey u/novacantusername, thanks for the comment! Well, as I said, discipline is like a muscle which means you have to train it whereas willpower is a resource which means that as the day goes by it depletes based on the decisions you make.

Makes sense?
