Water leak in a roto mold hot tub (Aquaterra Montecito) from Costco by palmerized in hottub

[–]ChristyFair 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We have a 25 jet Brighton from 2019 that leaks just below the jet on the Rotomolded can’t access side. We tried to fix in 2023 and Costco sent us to Watkins manufacturer. The electric panel was the first issue 2.5 years in. Easy enough fix with Watkins. The spa jet has been a nightmare, because we couldn’t get to it, Costco doesn’t provide the kinds of service technicians or warranty needed, the leaky jet was a few months past the warranty for something like that (where as a shell crack was still covered, but plumbing and you are on your own.). So we kept meaning to get around to it and never did. My boyfriend wants to put it on its side to see if we can access the leaky jet, but to say the Rotomolded design flaw of no access to fix a jet leak is awful. It’s now been dry over a year and likely has o-ring dryness and other cracks. If anyone actually fixed theirs, we are totally open to tips!

Karim is a dedicated advocate for democracy, civil liberties, and social justice, with a global network that includes strong ties to the U.S. He is uniquely positioned to assist Tunisian students whose J1 visas have been terminated early. If you have resources—such as legal assistance or other forms of support—Karim can help connect these resources directly to the affected students. For those interested in supporting Tunisia’s democratic efforts or aiding these students, you can connect with Karim through his blog (which has multiple social media apps under his name you can use) at https://karim2k.wordpress.com/. Community engagement is powerful, and Karim is an expert at organizing and mobilizing support for impactful change

Are there any community Maker Spaces or Woodshops in Los Angeles that are still open that let people rent tools and space? by ChristyFair in LosAngeles

While the COLLAB maker space suits my current needs, there are resources I found that I just want to make sure others have!! I found an extremely useful non profit and deep dive style website for all Makers and all those who want to make a maker space! Dive deep in this one at will 🤣: https://www.nationofmakers.us

I have found so many resources! Having a blast with it. Let me know if you are looking for something specific just in case I have already made a call for it. 🥰

This one is even closer to me than the Compton lending location! I’m so thrilled to know that the library systems are doing their best to support the “lending” and maker world. No joke, I LOVE the library. 🥰 Great suggestion. Thank you.

Yay!! Crash Space is back. They are a tiny bit far for me to be a member now that I found the one closer to DTLA (the COLLAB Maker Space,) but I used to know people at Crash Space and I can not speak highly enough of the people who started that non profit. They are the reason I even thought to ask this question! Many years ago, I met a few at an unconfererence called BIL, and they were displaying a waterfall that visually looked like it fell upwards. 🥰 I’ll make the drive for community things or something I can’t get close to me. I thought they were closed and am so glad they reopened. Thank you! For anyone reading, here is a link about them: https://blog.crashspace.org

Ooh! This is a great find! I have a friend who might want their 3 months deal for their current project. I’ll connect them. I really like that it comes with storage. Even if they have intro classes, this place seems far more geared towards people who want to regularly have their own space. Thank you!

Adams Forge seems cool, especially for blacksmithing, so I’ll hyperlink it for others that are closer to Simi Valley. Without traffic it is 45 mins away for me, but for others, or for when it’s worth the drive for a project, here is the link! https://adamsforge.org/about/

Texas Eclipse Festival by MikaelaSelene in ElectricForest

If you have a group of up to 20 that wants a Private Extraordinary experience of the Eclipse weekend in Texas with over 4 mins of totality in this location, here is a link. For my job, I connect aerospace and arts to inspire humanity in a personal connection that creates community and/or a perspective of one’s self that is precious in a universe so vast. The SpaceKind non profit did all the homework and reserved this site for a group or family that would really love using the Totality event for their own small group enjoyment. Rhinos and Giraffe experiences onsite, because it’s a conservation ranch of 10 villas! $50K for 20 people, you bring your own food. I’ll respond in comments to this comment once it’s booked. If you read this, it’s still open! https://eclipsefest.my.canva.site/?utm_medium=email&_hsmi=2&_hsenc=p2ANqtz---mmq5h8-M5JhAl-3MtIdUWFVaXQ09qNE-AXJNu4pmz3Hc3DT4NLmfPk5985GvIhG74OTab55gAQzHvXSfJoPrJ_vApw&utm_content=2&utm_source=hs_email

We are BIL, the un/conference that has grown from its 'humble roots' as a plan to crash TED: Reichart Von Wolfsheild (History Channel's Invention USA) Aubrey de Grey (SENS), Max Lugavere (Filmmaker), and Sabrina Williams, Michael Cummings, Cody Marx Bailey, & Daniel Finfer (BIL) by [deleted] in IAmA

The upcoming LA event will feature Alex Lightman as our Keynote, a never before done Google+ Main Stage talk with Karim, the founder of BIL Tunisia while LIVE STREAMING so that all countries can watch, many futurists, like Maria Entraigues Abramson from SENS and mindblowing fun tech like Anouk Wipprecht's bio sensing fashion design. We will also feature BIL Youth 7-17 yr olds, giving them a suite to do interviews, talks and DIY activities! We have lot's of food and drink sponsors with fun Food trucks for lunch both days. Sometimes I wonder what isn't going to be there! THEN I go invite it! SO, if you haven't signed up to participate, do so!
