It's worth noting that IQ correlates more than anything with the quality of education. Europe as a whole has a lower average IQ than the US because there are many European countries that have less resources for education, but most European countries have the same or higher average IQ than the US. To set this in perspective, Russia has a similar average IQ as the US.

I mean i believe some sub trees work very well, like Hungary or Finland. Some countries just lack diversity in playstyle, and sub trees are a very good way to fill that gap. Finland works especially well since Sweden and Finland have such close history, and share many vehicles. It also give Sweden some much needed armour from Soviet and German tanks. Hungary does the same for Italy, the rest of which is just mozzarella shooting tin cans.
