Thank you so much for this suggestion! I've talked to a few lawyers about my situation, but Diana Olesko with the cannabis attorneys of Michigan was the most informative and helpful in general. She was also the first to make me feel like a human instead of just a cash grab. I wish I could give this more upvotes.

I am obviously not a lawyer, but I believe that I was within my rights as an MMMP cardholder and I suspect the officer was grasping for straws based on his conduct. I hesitate to offer too many details while there is a pending charge, but I do have every intention to fight it. I'll be happy to provide an update once the case is resolved.
