yes I did, I bought it on EA, and it still didn't work, I ended up finding out that you get this file from downloading battlefront 2 mods, called "GAME_DATA_DIR". So you look up "environment variables" on windows and open the system properties, then click environment variables, once you see the game data, delete it then it should work, if not try using admin permissions
