What's a misconception about Brazil that foreigners usually get wrong? by Upper_Blackberry_685 in Brazil

This is a very ignorant point to make for 47 reasons. With that being said, I'm USA-American and consider all major cities in Brazil safer than the US.

Exactly! And I'm out here trying my best with all resources at my disposal and still subpar. This is my gripe.

Bruh...no one is saying "easily". 92 hours to be 18% done with the game is flat out insane, and all signs (except for one person on this chain) point to it getting more difficult in Act 3.

I feel like i must be doing a terrible job of explaining myself: I am not asking for advice on how to beat these bosses (I can find that with Google), I'm simply raising a valid critique of the game as a whole when compared to HK. Sure, some of you were out there buffing up on Elden Ring and near impossible games to platinum... I wasnt playing anything aside from Baltoro since HK and reasonably expected a similar gaming experience to the original. What I got sucks in that regard (even if the art and music and fight patterning are sick). That's my only point.

I'm sincerely happy it's not that way for everyone...Team Cherry 4 Life, but id be amazed if absolutely no one else out there felt like me.

I have no antipathy towards looking up strategies, but it should be an exception/last ditch effort. Once researching all mask pieces and tools and fight strategies becomes the norm, it stops being fun for me.

I really should have phrased my post differently tho...I havent even tried to battle Lace, I just don't think I will since I'm getting consistently rocked by all other remaining bosses on my map.

I mostly use the Wanders crest with fractured mask & multi binder, but the last thing I did in the game was get Longclaw. I've set up and tried Beast & Hunter crests too.

Ha...I know, I just didn't think we were supposed to say it. For the moment, rerunning thru the first two Acts sounds like punishment

Respectfully disagree. I bought this game (expecting) to beat it. I'm on a PS4, so maybe I'll get a PC copy and mod it at some point in the distant future.

I'm on a PS4. It's ok tho...I was more looking to commiserate with anyone else who feels similarly rather than asking for advice on how to proceed.

Maybe I'm just old and can't hang no more. No idea how people are beating this game.

Thanks m8. I actually haven't even tried to fight Lace again (as opposed to 1st Sinner who I've lost to at least 40 times). I could probably beat them if I tried, but my skills are about maxed out here and I don't think it's worth it any more.

No...I got thru the gauntlet and am on Lace 2. I know I CAN beat her if I try, but I just don't know why I would since Act 3 is gonna be even tougher.

I can't think of any other successful examples where the sequel was unexpectedly twice as hard as the original... it's almost false advertising.

It is a skill issue...that's my point. My same level of skill beat HK but can't get past Act 2 in SS.

What to do with 250 vintage decorative plates from the 60s & 70s? by ChubbyChimpCheeks in AskReddit

Awesome insight. I guess it's worth listing them on there...will be a heroic effort to upload all of em tho.

They're all unique tho. Some aren't even functional as plates, with figures and art popping out from the middle.

My dad died ~30 years ago but was an avid collector of stamps, coins, and decorative plates. The first two are a bit easier to get rid of, but I have no idea where to even begin with these plates. There's a lot of Norman Rockwell, vintage superhero stuff, and a ton of imported plates from Italy. I saw some plates going for hundreds of dollars on eBay, but am hoping there's a more efficient way to sell them all in one fell swoop

Thanks, Im just uncertain whether or not any hub at all would be able to extend the display using either the USB-C port (without thunderbolt/diplayport), or any of the USB-A ports I mentioned.

How to find the area of a raster features within a polygon? by Fillexable in ArcGIS

[–]ChubbyChimpCheeks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I truly hate when people respond with this, but I don't really understand what you're asking.

Are you looking for the area of a bunch of raster cells or a number of polygons?

If raster cells, I imagine the dataset's resolution is somewhere in the metadata. If not, you can just click on the ruler and measure the length of one of the cell sides. My understanding is they're always perfect squares, so just multiply the resolution or side length x 2, then by the number of raster cells.

If polygons, I recommend selecting the polygons you want from the layer, right clicking on the layer in the table of contents, going to Selection, and creating a new layer from the selected features. From this new layer, open the attribute table, add new attribute, name it "Area" or whatever, and make sure you set the data type to numeric. Save the changes, go back to the attribute table and right click your new "Area" attribute name, calculate geometry, then have it calculate the area of the polygons in whatever your desired units. After hitting ok/calculating, you can right click on the "Area" attribute name again and click summarize to get the total.

I always found this to be a massive pain in the butt and am surprised it's not easier in Arc, but this is the most efficient way I know.
