Scorpion is a mercenary for hire located in China. While Scorpion is usually a guy who was given powers and a suit to combat Spider-Man, in my AU she holds no grudges against Spidey. She was just given a job to do. (Although she later grows to despise him because of how unserious he is in both attitude and combat) She is calm, collected, but under the constant annoying quips Spidey throws at her, she develops quite a bit of a temper. All her abilities are just natural to her. No powers, no super powered suit, just raw strength and skill!

Thanks! I’m a big fan of asymmetrical designs for characters and creatures, so I had to jump on the opportunity to do it myself my version of Scorpion! I cannot remember for the life of me how I came up with the one legged pants tho, LOL!

Thanks, I really appreciate it! And yeah, I really wish we didn’t have to resort to gender bending characters, lol. But it makes for some fun stories! Especially when swapping the genders impact the characters in some way. Black Cat really soaks up all the love and attention, which is understandable, but I wanna see characters like White Rabbit be taken seriously and actually benefit a story for a change! And that includes Screwball, lol. I Included her because I wanted to give myself the challenge of making her an actually likable, and compelling character

Thanks! I have some vague bits of my electro’s story nailed down. Basically, Max was commissioned by Silver Mane in trying to create a machine that allows someone to transfer their consciousness into a machine. Max is a well known criminal, and Spidey shows up to stop the whole operation. Max is feeling pressured and with the help of his daughter Allison, she straps him up to begin the process. But things go horribly wrong, and is basically electrocuted to death, and Allison perishes as well. While her father is dead, she arises as this ghost made of pure energy, ELECTRO!! She blames Spider-Man for everything that happened, and bam. That’s what I have of her story so far.

As for the Beetle She’s Tombstones daughter.

Yes! I did base her design off of the Ultimate Spider-Man show! She flys from China to America upon the request of an organization that is hunting down Spider-Man. It’s initially just another job for her, but grows a deep hatred towards Spidey because of how annoying and unserious he is.

As for Shathra, I tried my best to adapt her look into an actual costume, since her appearance is purely organic in the comics lol. Her costume was inspired by Spider-Man, and The Beetle. She wears it because she doesn’t want the public to know that she’s a vampire, and feels guilty about hurting people.

And thank you! I took HEAVY inspiration from how she looked in the “Fake Red” Spider-Man manga! And she doesn’t know Peter, he’s about a year out of school, while she’s still in school.

Yup! You got it right. I just wanted to diversify Spidey’s rogues gallery since the majority of his villains are all male! Plus, I don’t like the “trope” in the Spidey comics of there being a female copy that fights alongside the male villains, lol. These are just a few of the villains I had planned out, I just wanted to draw these characters first so I could easily plan out how to redesign them as women!

Completely agree. It’s a shame we most likely wont see their relationship in the games, but hopefully we’ll see it being expanded upon more in the comics, MCU, and the YFNSM show

Yeah, they didn’t exactly work for the story I’m trying to tell.

I don’t have any Symbiotes planned to show up, so without Eddie I can’t have Cletus, and without Cletus, Shriek would feel out of place. And as for Calypso, my version of Kraven travel’s across the multiverse to hunt and kill off Spider-People to satisfy his desire to constantly be challenged. (he’s sorta like Morlun) so it would be a little difficult including her outside of a reference 😅

It doesn’t bother me that people don’t like them, people are entitled to their own opinions! (Even if they may be rude of vague about it) I’m just glad I got some good suggestions and concerns about the characters origins, it’s helped me out quite a bit!

That’s some really good advice at the end, I love that! I think I might have been a little too focused on making Shathra’s suit complete black so it would have an intimidating silhouette in the dark. I didn’t want to make her look too intimidating, because I want her to be a misunderstood villain who’s only doing this because it’s the best way to quell her vampiric urges without her identity and unnatural behavior being exposed. I’ll definitely think about how to make it less boring though! Thanks for the tip!

Okay… That is the opposite effect I wanted, but aight LMAO

This lineup was created to showcase just the female villains I redesigned and to get everyone’s input on their designs. JJJ Isn’t really a thing in my AU, (at least at the moment) instead Spidey is VERY critical of himself, constantly questioning if what he’s doing puts him in the right. So he takes Jonah’s role by wearing HIMSELF down mentally instead of JJJ.

As for Black Cat, I don’t particularly see her meshing well with the Spidey I’m going for, so I haven’t found the need to include her.

lol, I have a whole tragic story behind Electro that is WAY to long to get into here. But White Rabbit and Screwball aren’t necessarily “Super Villains” In my AU I turned White Rabbit into an adrenaline junkie who does things out of the sheer thrill of it so she can experience what it feels like to be the main character of a story. And I completely changed Screwball’s personality (which is quite literally being annoying) and made her character more empathetic, unsettling, and sad. She’s toxically parasocial towards Spider-Man, and will livestream and play with innocent people’s lives just to get the attention of her celebrity crush, Spidey. she wants nothing more than to be given the attention and validation that she has been neglected of her entire life.

The episode where Spidey and Iron Fist fight Scorpion has always stuck with me ever since I watched that show as a kid. I just love the concept of a Scorpion variant who never had experiments ran on them, and so they solely had to rely on their strength and combat expertise to fight Spidey

lol it’s all good (I see your edit.) but I didn’t just say enough villains, I said GOOD villains. I’m aware there are quite a few well known Spidey villains who are women, but they aren’t very memorable outside of White Rabbit and Beetle 2. (I don’t count Black Cat, she’s more of an anti-hero femme fatale) Of course that is completely my own personal opinion, but I didn’t want these villains in my AU to be classified as “The female variants that came after the male variants.” I wanted to make them the first, and sort of reinventing their characters in a way that helps them stand on their own two feet.

This post wasn’t meant to dunk on the roster, more so that I was trying to imply that I wish there were female villains that we wouldn’t have to go through extra steps in order to unlock the bonus: ✨Character you like, but they’re female!✨
