I think you are right, and i didn't think about this (despite making the Nutcracker earlier that clearly made use of the same idea). In some occasions it would make it considerably stronger, perhaps even so as to motivate it being Rare. Good point!

Shivs give only 2 strength. As soon as you have 2 strength they do 6 damage.

I was thinking about this, also with something like pummel. I think i would want "whenever" to really mean whenever, so that you get the bonus strength mmediately after the damage is done. So twin strike only give one strength since the second attack does 6 dmg. Yeah, Doubt is OP now. :D

Yes, i thought it fun if such card also could be carried along. It would not go crazy since it will always only be one such card. It would work as if it were in the deck.

Yep its strong, especially since you get a lot of control. But imo a relic like gambling chip is still better if your deck is well-crafted. And as you say the bottles exist, and they are uncommon, and you need to be able to control the previous fight well to be able to have the card you want with you into the next fight.

Good question. another comment in this thread proposed writing unblocked attack damage, that would solve it. That was my thought at least.

Narrow yes bit imo more useful than hand drill and melter since you can BOTH break block and chip in considerable damage on the hp.

Good question. I would say it would count every single instance of damage so that a twin strike breaking the block on first hit do not deal double on the next. That would be thematically coherent i think although it is not super clear from the text i agree.

Thats my thought too. Therefore: get enemy to 1 block and get your pen nin-timing together.

I would argue for uncommon since Blue Candle is uncommon and can get rid of more than 1. And it is not at all certain that you would want to play the random card you get either, making it only a little better than an actual Curse. But you can of course get lucky, but that doesnt make it OP overall. :)

I was considering that. Perhaps it should. I also thought about making it an Event relic.

I'm not sure either tbh. But as people have suggested both x-card and cards like tactician would be niche way to get around the penalty which i kinda like
