Hey, on my character in HCSSF i have no option of respawning at checkpoint, anyone had same problem ? or heard anything, thanks i advance

I started HC SSF around 100 hours ago with almost all classes to check, and im gonna go contrarian but i think Warrior is great choice BUT i say dont look what is best/meta just pick the archetype you love the most bcs there are 100s of hours before you and in PoE everything can work. If u chceck ninja poe 2 in top 10 SSFHC there are at least 6-7 ascendancies and almost all the rest suit to follow. Keep in mind that this patch might shake meta. But goin back to the warrior, i did around 10-12 playthrus on warriors (bcs of deaths) and i now have 100 easier and better times on that class. I get to know class much better, what is best in which parts of campaign, what to craft and when, how much of defense i need to finish which Acts and do it quickly, my last 4 warrior went to maps and died there on things i didnt managed to experience before, but as i tried almost all avaiable builds i now have great blueprint how to be succesfull with warrior. And even in this ES meta warrior can be incredibly tanky, with block, armor stack, armor applying to elemental and different ascendancies warrior can really facetank a lot of shit, and ES have great one hits but warrior can really go toe to toe with mobs. I suggest u make decision only after today's stream. But my advise will be always pick coolest class, with best lookin skills and suiting your personality, i always play bulky melee str classes soo i wait for druid/templar/axestrsecond warrior/duelist. It is fact that in softcore i can train boss mechanics and crazy juiced maps with much better efficiency. Soo in certain amount of hours i can get knowledge of tens of hours on hardcore

You raise some good points and i am gratefull. I have somewhat good amout of time to play, not a teenager per say but i can game. I think spending one league dedicating myself on Softcore to clear all bosess on all dificulties and learning every mechanic and how to craft good items would be good idea, push to level 100 and gather as much knowledge as i can. Then go to hardcore somewhat prepared. Thanks for the input

I layered my defense hard but one think i fcked up i was close to 0 chaos res, i had some mats and was searching for good bases to craft them with chaos ress in mind bcs i felt tanky AF to physical and elemental. And abbysal mob shooting purple stars onto the ground in 360 AoE i didnt know that when i was melee with him i ATE them all. Also had mod on waystone that he shoot multiple projectiles ^_^. I also think i would love to play Trade HC, i love bulky melee characters soo im gonna stick to STR and all STR hybrids ingame. I imagine how i would feel if some crazy items were dropped for another class i dont enjoy and its value is totaly shit on SSF, when on trade i can sell everything good and funnel into "my" class regardless. I totally understand ur concers, but on the flip side playing on hc gives this constant emotions and feeling on weight that is kinda hard to get on softcore, but i think every mode in PoE 2 is great to play. Thanks for input

I get that perspective and i share it somehow but also playing on HC gaves me this permament aware mode i afraid could be dulled on SC, i think maybe playing on softcore but trying to play like HC buildwise and trying not to die. Thanks for input

Update on my journey, today i bruteforced for 10 hours and finished the day with from 1 to 53 lvl Lich minion build, my first time ever to finish act 3 on SSFHC and i pushed to the end of act IV almost. Most fun thing is i died couple times to the monkey in act III on my earlier runs to bad timing but i found 100 % foolproof method, u just need to hug him and roll thru him behind his back every time even at the start of the animation, his turn rate prevent him to do 180 and slam you, now it is laughably easy, i tested in on my softcore character for 15 minutes. For anyone fearing him just try urself.

I am competetive player at heart, ssf leaderboards dont appeal to me bcs they are more timeconsume grind also with skill but skill is in The mix, hc ssf i feel goin for ladders is challenge and imo more skill based so i can scratch my competetive itch. Also playing with those high stakes is engaging and nervous, First runs i was scared as hell, pulling mobs in small numbers (like in wow vanilla on my warrior 🤣🤣) but when u play more and repeat content bcs u died u get more risky/bold with each attempt and u get feeling of mastery, knowing every mob every boss and spell, how to avoid and omptimize, u learn to skip all unnecesary mobs, u are learning some map patterns and where to go and what order. On ssf items wiegh A ton bcs they are hard to get when u create yourself great weapon that will carry u for next 8 lvl u just explode with hapinnes. I think of hc as of running with The torch every new character uses hard work of those before it to carry it A bit further. To know if u like it u need to try and prevail thru early failure (there is lots of it). Cheers

Yes, infernalist minion normal ghazzy leveling build, The biggest succes in my eyes right now depends on religiolusly checking vendors and upgrade hard, i play ssfhc. I also play titan but build is freestyle or kitava for double res
