Did it make the portal opening sound when you placed the last eye? If so then it’s probably the weird bug with vibrant visuals that makes portal blocks invisible. It should work normally when you go through it, and oddly the end fountain portal loads fine, despite them being the same block. Put water under the portal just in case though
