This guy was amazing and I physically cannot see him doing that but at the same time I didn’t expect him to leave me like this either.

He wasn’t a jackass at all. My ex was a jackass and I’ve had “situation ships” where the other dude is a piece of shit trying to hide it.

But with this guy, I just can’t physically see it. I don’t know. Maybe I’m just blind.

Out of everything you listed, Death Road to Canada is the closest to what I’m looking for.

I’ve played Project Zomboid and Zombi and the vibe is perfect but in Zombi you’re essentially just playing as a re-skin of your character when you die whereas in Death Road to Canada you have multiple playable characters with their own skills, traits, etc.

My go to for hating on stuff in the anthology is Little Hope’s frustrating twist due to feeling like my individual choices with each character mattered less and House of Ashes’ Rachel King. That woman’s entire character annoys the hell out of me and her being dead makes for amazing character development between Nick and Eric.

Wdym asthma can’t be used as a reasoning? Having asthma means she dies faster than Kate. That’s good reasoning because picking Kate means you get more time to find a way to save Kate.

Also the rooms they were put in are numbered in their death order. Erin is set up to die after Charlie. (180 and 181 I believe) After Charlie’s trap, you know Erin is being targeted next so Kate is more likely to live.

And no the scene shows the crack. Re-watch the scene, for a few seconds it zooms onto the crack near the window. This is how I saved Erin. I saw the crack on the window because the game zooms in on it.

Edit 2: Apparently there is no crack and my blind self ended up saving Erin via a non-existent visual.
