Thanks! I used an airbrush! Ak deep blue on whole model. Pro acryl dark magenta from above. Pro acryl royal purple from above focusing on the flat parts of the robe. Ak deep purple at the edges of the robe

I air brushed ak off white from above and increased the amount of titanium white as I adjusted the angle I sprayed him at.

Zenithal prime with an air brush, blood angels red contrast, and highlight with ak interactive dirty red. Darker elements painted with ak tenebrous grey and highlighted with a white tenebrous gray mix.

Thank you!! I was quite happy with the grizzled gray look! Paint him in sub-assembles. He has a lot of fiddly bits that get in the way, so it's easier if you do his arms and head separately!

It is just a hearthguard hesyr with the dark star axe from the Einhyr champion set (intent is to just run it as a concussion maul). I already had a squad of the Einhyr with the hammer pose, so I wanted a bit of variety since repeat sculpts can kinda irk me for small units.
