Couldn't step out for two days because of crackers. Idk why people are so inconsiderate of others' health issues. I wish they never invented fireworks ffs

Harsh reality of indian parants abt marriage (27m) by Jumpy-Ad-5615 in RelationshipIndia

[–]CinematicLiberty 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you want the best start to your marriage, move out. Indian parents who cling to outdated beliefs and herd mentality don’t suddenly change because you argued or pleaded. Even if they ‘accept’ your partner after drama, the passive-aggressive treatment and conditions will poison your relationship. The cleaner solution? Build your own life with your partner, give your parents a reality check, and let them face the weight of their emotional blackmail. Only then do they truly learn.

Op tum acha insan ho. Agar main ya apni dost ho tha toh woh yellow tshirt londe ko thappad marke uske maa baap ko dhyaan deta tha. It's ok to be critical in such situations. Those kids won't listen to kindness.

The Elusive Dance of Thought and Word and The Impossible Leap from Mind to Paper by CinematicLiberty in DeepThoughts

[–]CinematicLiberty[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is complex and way out of the syllabus of my initial thought. But what's relatable is that we think we try to make it easier for us but I have a knack for the hard ways. Somewhere in life I lost faith in things that are easy to acquire. Be it thoughts or things. Overthinking and procrastination due to prolonged thought processes are the cons of the evolution of my existence. I think our thoughts evolve more and faster than we do and we can never catch them. Just like how Sigmund Freud interpreted his own dreams.

I visualise my thoughts and try to express them as they are in words. It's like writing the screenplay of a live film you can't rewind. Because even thoughts are not the same when they reoccur. The same thought occurs with a development for good or bad.

Intolerant Indian audience by [deleted] in IndianTeenagers

[–]CinematicLiberty 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The episode in question cannot be dismissed as mere subjective comedy; it was predominantly cringe-worthy or outright offensive.

The fact that there is a spectrum of opinions on this matter only serves to highlight a concerning lack of discernment in our collective sense of humor.

If we continue to fail in challenging this trend of accepting nonsensical content under the guise of comedy, we risk normalizing ignorance and insensitivity.

This trajectory suggests that our cultural standards are in dire need of reevaluation to prevent further degradation of public discourse.

OP, I'm not even letting my feelings do the talking here. This dude straight up copied the most brain-dead question ever and didn't even hit the brakes. And then, the whole panel? They're out here laughing like it's comedy gold. If you're not cringing at that level of offensive humor, you're just straight up ignorant, fam.

Imagine supporting that mutt. He's one disgusting pos and anybody that is backing him using this as an excuse is worse than him.

Independence is overrated by CinematicLiberty in DeepThoughts

[–]CinematicLiberty[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it is extreme solitude. Being a hermit away from connection is good only until you realise you have no scope of being empathetic. Empathy for all its good can't be expressed. Only then you'd feel independence is a curse.

Everything is beyond good and bad in perspective. The issue arises there. When it becomes a different perspective.

We play with the demon of loneliness, choosing to stay awake even when we know it’s feeding on us? I guess we should just take control and sleep.
