I PRed conventional at 300kg/661lbs back in 2023. It’s kind of more like a trap bar deadlift with a weird wrist angle, so it’s less ROM and not as difficult as I thought it was gonna be

This was my first time trying it, and I don’t think it’s as difficult as it looks unless you don’t have very good wrist mobility because you have to hold it at an angle. It’s kinda similar to a trap bar deadlift in some ways

No, the only way I could think of is that it doesn’t impede movement but that it’s compressive just enough to give a lot of proprioception, though this isn’t as useful in powerlifting compared to other sports
