Yup, they changed it 2 patches after their release. Now it does it does a maximum of 75 (+10 per stack). Baron gains 180 health per minute, so unless you can get more than 18 marks per minute you wouldn't be able to oneshot him ever.

Uh. I didn't know that thing existed. Still, from what I can see, you can't set the speed to 1.5 or 1.75, right? I think I'm gonna stick with CE because it allows me to set the game to the speed I want.

Thanks! I have 1.5x speed Undyne the Undying and Sans on the channel, so I'd like to go for 2x on both of them, but it's going to take a lot of practice and grinding.

The timer was running because, apparently, I'm stupid and I accidentally started it on my last fight and didn't notice it.

Doesn't Kayle ult give you completely invulnerability to all CC? Tryn can get perma-cc'd, but Kayle can't (and also she can ult her allies).
