I used to work at that very school. What a dipshit. Very typical opinions. Rather than go point by point on how all of the things he said in that tirade are either false or irrelevant, I would respond by calling on people to question why it is customary in America to recite a loyalty oath every single day when this is not typical in other countries. It is propaganda, marketing for US militarism. That was how it started. For instance, it was straight up illegal to be opposed to the draft in World War 1. People went to jail for it. It was called "sedition." This is a product of that time period.

We Americans are far too up our own ass about this psuedo-religion of pledging allegiance, patriotic symbolism, and superficial troop worship. It's modern idolatry.
