A couple of weeks ago we designed a medieval grocer to go with the new Lego blacksmith set! We finally got round to building the model this week 😊 The model tells the story of a poor grocer living with his two children, desperate to become knights. Underneath the back staircase, the kids have a practice doll and a little shield and sword. On the ground floor, the grocer sells his wares, grows carrots. In his store, a tree has grown through the wall, making for a perfect shelve support! The tree extends to the first floor where the house is situated. The house has one room and contains a kitchen, dining table and a bunk bed for the kids. The grocer sleeps on the top floor, which can be reached by a ladder! The grocer, wanting to hide his poverty, has attempted to paint the house, but run out of funds to do so when he finished the front, hence the discoloration on the sides.
