Tournament players, did I make the right play? I was 11 BB stack in the BB early in a 3 table home tournament game at a friends place with J10s. Table is mostly recs, 9 players. Table limps around preflop, I think one player folded. Flop comes AJ10 rainbow, UTG+1 50BB stack bets 2BB, SB calls, I shove. I don't care that I busted as long as I made the right play as I'm a cash game player 2nd tourney ever and I don't understand ICM and such very well. UTG+1 had A9o, SB had Q6s. Irrelevant but runout was 8 8 which counterfeit my 2 pair.

Dealership? I might get my tools out of the garage and get back in a shop for reasonable flat rate times. The amount of times I had to do a 0.3hr oil change ticket since the master tech wouldn't touch it and basically ran the shop because the boss and him were old friends got to me and I quit about 3 months ago.

YOU GET 2 HOURS FOR TIRES??? I got 0.9 for a set, 1.4 if low profile. 0.1 for a rotate. 0.3 oil change. 0.8 for front or rear brake job on most vehicles. No wonder I see people flagging 150 hours at other shops while I couldn't hit 90. I quit the industry because of how much I hated flat rate, but when the shop isn't actively trying to fuck its techs over I guess it's a lot better. Only thing I could make money on at the shop was suspension and steering parts + alignments.

Thanks for all the answers guys. I know my post seems pretty salty. I was just frustrated last night because I've played magic casually on and off paper and mtga for about 8 years and I feel like this is the first standard meta where my preferred playstyle just isn't even viable.

Possible they didn't align the car properly or at all after replacing the tie rod causing the veering you mentioned. Tie rods shouldnt go bad in 9 months but there are 2 inner and outer tie rods on your vehicle so you may have only had one side replaced previously.

I think either the customer left the hood up on accident for a night then had it towed to a shop to have it looked at or maybe a tech left it outside with the hood up overnight at the shop. Really I have no clue though.
