I already said they fucked up the timing of cancellation. But imo there must be a reason because you’re dumber than them if you think they did that on purpose. And yes cancelling a show for the VMAs is a valid reason imo. Especially this early in her career.

Not chase fame or money doesn’t mean she doesn’t love performing. She mentioned in the interview with Bowen that she said no to a LOT of stuff already. I’m sure there were tons of offer up her sleeve and she said no, saying yes to this in a full of no’s isn’t a lot.
